Farm description

This small grass based livestock farm homesteaded by my father after WW2. 240 acres improved and 240 acres woodland, marsh and muskeg. Farmed with the idea that building topsoil is good for the farm, the farmer and the environment. Have cattle and have had sheep in the past.

Farm opportunity

Looking for a succession to a young motivated couple or individual who is as passionate as I am in using agriculture to mitigate climate change and the effects of climate change. I am looking for someone to lease all or part of our operation with a plan on them buying and/or leasing more land to build on what we have started. We would expect that we would stay on the farm as well on a full or part time basis. The speed of the succession would be optional.
