Hello, from Alex and Daisy. --Our Why-- We believe in a world in which our food systems regenerate our lands and soil; not deteriorate them. We appreciate natural predator-prey relationships, along with the role animals have always played for dynamic and healthy habitats. We wish to continue aligning our values with our actions, and hope to inspire other young families and individuals to grow their relationship with their animals and their lands. --How-- Through Allan Savory's "Holistic Management" context and principles, we shall enhance the natural relationship between our livestock ruminants and the grasslands they help produce, in order to optimize habitat biodiversity, soil health, animal happiness, and business profitability. -"What"- With the help and/or blessing of an existing farmland owner, we shall design and implement an effectively managed Holistic Grazing Plan and Holistic Financial Plan. Depending on certain climactic and geographical factors, we shall evaluate which animal species and breed are best suited for the operational model. The livestock will be sold as live animals; either as full, half, or quarter animal unit; depending on provincial regulations. In the coming years, we also plan to expand with flower, herbs, biochar, and custom meat processing businesses. I see this expansion as an evolution and recognition of entire natural life cycle. --The Ask-- We are seeking an individual or family who can employ, mentor, offer internship, or lease land and live-in facilities; whom is/are seeking a disciplined and ethical young family to help regenerate land through animal agriculture. --About US-- Found on "Advanced Profile" page.

Alex - is the grandson of a butcher and small-scale farming family from Quebec. Raised in Ontario and having studied in British Columbia, Alex has a thorough understanding of climate and the impact of seasonal cycles. Over the past 7 years, half the year he founded and built a food forest / farm out of 25-acres of deteriorated pasture, in Central America. During that same time he also consulted for a greenhouse installation company in British Columbia. Having trained and certified in several Pasture Management systems (Savory Institute, Holistic Management International), he now hopes to further his commitment to exemplifying land regeneration through animal agriculture. At the same time, Alex also wishes to become a butcher, and serve his community by offering the necessary service which completes the pasture-to-plate cycle. Daisy - is a psychologist from Panama with a passion for sales, design, astrology, natural health. She is excited to share her gifts in order to help build and support our thriving business and family. Daisy also hopes to expand and build a medicinal herb gardening business in the future.

We want to farm alone; or with the landowners. Other partnerships may be considered in the future.

Farm Vision

- Designed and operated though the Holistic Management(TM) context and principles. - 50 to 400 acres. - Managed intensive grazing, mob grazing, strip grazing, custom grazing. - Carbon credit via Ecological Outcome Verification(TM) model - Direct to consumer live animal sales - Potential investment fund to optimize necessary Animal Units

Relationship with Farm Owner

We believe that both side of the partnership should be clear, honest, and protected as best as possible. We believe a 1 to 2 year preliminary period should be considered to eliminate any doubts of unparalleled values or desired direction. We believe in written contracts and agreements.
