Farm description

We are mature farmers hoping to transition our dreams into the hands of the next generation of stewards. We value sustainable agriculture, environmental responsibility and working in harmony with nature by developing and promoting organic practices and involving ourselves in groups that promote these values.
We believe in constantly challenging ourselves with new ideas and value ongoing learning for ourselves as individuals and in partnership. We value passing on knowledge to future generations of stewards, and appreciate time spent with family, friends and each other in companionship and celebration. We aim to produce our own food and produce food for our local community, as well as to engage organic buyers both locally and further afield.
We are currently an organic grain and beef farm. We are open to other production ideas: market gardening, poultry, pork, sheep, rabbits or goats. We are involved with an on-line marketing group, The Farmers' Table, delivering our product to Regina on a monthly basis. As we build up our local market, the bulk of our product is being sold in the global market.

Farm opportunity

Our farm vision, has grown out of our desire to build a land-centered community in collaboration with young, energetic, earth-centered partners who wish to settle on a Saskatchewan farm.
Land and livestock available to compatible candidate(s) in lease and lease to own opportunity. Mentorship, opportunities also available. We currently have an arrangement with a young family who will be raising goats and renting a small portion of the land base, with possible involvement in the cattle operation. Grain land remains available, as well as further livestock opportunities.
We are retiring farmers whose children are not interested in farming. We would like to gradually hand off the farm operation to new farmer(s) able to manage on their own after a certain period of mentorship. We would remain in our home on the home quarter and be available to help out when needed.
