Farm description

This farm land was first farmed 1926. For the past 11 years we have farmed it there has been only sustainable farming practices followed, with the intention of future organic certification. It is currently off grid by choice service is available if desired. It has a deep drilled well with a solar pump, which has provided all the water we could use and more. Dwellings are heated with wood.

Farm opportunity

Currently we have milking shorthorn cattle, drop calves, Suffolk sheep, heritage breed chickens and narrgansett turkeys, and a team of draft horses, a team of mini's. Fencing is mostly solar electric with a couple old page wire paddocks. For the past two years we had English large blacks here also. At our peak we raised pastured pork more then 50 pigs, 30 cattle, 11 horses, 12 sheep and a 2 acre garden. This only used about 30 acres for pasture and garden. There is certainly room for growth.

Owner is retiring, looking to transition and sell. Over 340 acres available for sale, can be divided into smaller parcels asking $1000.00/acre. Please mesaage with any questions or for more details.
