Farm description
The farm is located in Woodlawn, now part of the city of Ottawa. The total acreage is approximately 140 acres, of which 130 are arable land, all tile drained. It has been certified organic for the last 5-6 years, we would like to keep it organic even in the future. A crop rotation of soybeans and buckwheat has been applied to the fields for the last few years, but corn, wheat, barley and oats are also grown in the area. We would rent the land, the farm house has been already rented.
Farm opportunity
Our goal is to find someone who would like to rent the farm and grow organic crops, we could give a hand to sell certain types of cash crops in Europe.
