Farm description
This was the hotel and tavern for the village of Southampton in the 1800s. Sir Charles Tupper was even a guest. Since then, it has been a pleasant little family farm. The house is enormous and there are some small outbuildings. There are ~6 acres of pasture for grazing or gardening and hundreds of feet of riverfront for fishing or irrigation. The land was previously cropped for strawberries and is just hay now. I have an antique shop in the house, and would like to populate the pasture and little stable with alpacas, as I have some experience with those animals. The main floor of the house also has a tiny general store and another room that could become either an art studio or a shop for alpaca products.
Farm opportunity
Looking for some aspiring farmers/homesteaders, and it wouldn't hurt if you had an interest in creating arts and crafts. You would help build up an alpaca herd and help me with the shops in the house. It could become a communal living situation if things are going well between us, although I spend much of my time at my other hobby farm which is kitty-corner across the road.
