Farm description

Our farm is a 20 minute drive from downtown Victoria and has been actively farmed going back to the 1940's. We have an active property, with a large family and several businesses operating on the land. We are ecologically minded and are looking for someone to take over the farm in a way that respects these values, and brings new energy and enthusiasm for the land. The farm is on a well and there is irrigation capacity, along with a greenhouse and perimeter fencing infrastructure.

Farm opportunity

We're offering a 1 year lease/commitment but are very much open to a long-term arrangement if we can find a good fit (an experienced farmer who is trustworthy, communicative and respectful). This is a farming opportunity for product to be sold off-property as we're not open to having the general public on the property at this time. We are also opening to making an investment in certain plants (lavender, nut trees, peonies) given the long-term benefit to the property. Please note that this opportunity would be available starting January, 2022 (not for the current 2021 growing season).
