Farm description
Prior to our purchase, this property was originally an apple orchard and then subsequently converted into a cattle farm. The property has not be farmed in a number of years, however it still has significant potential. The property includes a number of cleared, defined fields that are currently either maintained grass and/or hay fields that are cut by the neighboring farmer. The property also includes a large barn with functional stream fed water source to the lower level. There is a house located on the property that is currently rented out (tenants are not doing any farming activity). We envision this relatively blank slate of a property being evolved overtime into a regenerative farm.
Farm opportunity
We are seeking like minded individuals who see the value and opportunity in turning this property into a mixed use, regenerative farm. We (the owners of the property) have an overall vision for the property but unfortunately have not been able to relocate to the property full time to see this vision through. We currently live ~1 hour away and don't want to see the property/opportunity to go to waste. We would love to find the right person/people interested in this type of farming to be able to leverage our existing land to benefit them in their farming career, as well as help us to progress toward are future vision for the land.
