Farm description

Hi there, I'm looking to purchase a 20 to 50 acre property, to start our organic farm in the following year with the hope that the farm will be successful & productive within 5 years.

Farm opportunity

I have been in the corporate sector all my life, with zero farming experience. Throughout the covid lockdown, I've had the opportunity to explore a number of hobbies and new activities, and discovered a whole new passion for growing plants and vegetables. I feel the time is right to pursue work that is personally fulfilling and meaningful. Hence my decision for this career change. To help me get going on setting up the farm, I'm hoping to partner with (or hire) a like-minded farmer who has at least 3 years of organic farming experience & is well-versed with permaculture, regenerative agriculture and biodiversity. Alternatively, if you're a farmer working on your succession plan, I'm definitely also open to working on your farm, and having you mentor and guide me on my journey towards becoming a farmer, with the option to acquire your farm business as and when you are ready to retire. Beyond growing crops and fruits, as the farm success grows, I'm hoping to expand into agritourism, more so for the objective of increasing greater awareness and appreciation among community, for nature and our intricate bond with Mother Earth. Through realization of this dream, I'm hoping with your help that we can also tick off a few of the UN's 17 sustainable development goals :)
