Farm description

This is a complete farm in the city, yet surrounded by conservation area wetland and forest, with river access. Since the 1950's it has been rented to farmers by the National Capital Commission ( Our 2019 team of 3 partners and 2 staff provided an organic vegetable CSA to over 150 weekly clients, and we have a farm store as well. This farm, now known as BeetBox Co-op Farm, has been organic or biodynamic for at least 15 years, and was formerly known as Riverglen Farm. We would like there to be more farming happening, either just more vegetables or a more diverse set of ecologically responsible enterprises, in order to make better use of the land!

Farm opportunity

My farmer partners are looking to transition onto other life projects. This is why I'm looking for at least one individual, preferably more, who are willing to figure out, together with me (Jeremy), how best to farm this land. I have experience, community support, lots of equipment and infrastructure and customers, new tile drainage. I need to partner with others to share the responsibility of managing the property and growing and/or diversifying the farming operations in order to succeed. Check out my bio here for more about me : If you would like to know more and are serious about becoming a farm business owner, please get in touch. Please include your email address or phone number in your message so it's easier to get in touch. Thanks!
