Farm opportunity
I am looking to connect with a few like-minded farmers who may be interested in helping build something long-term together. The vision is to purchase a farm property and develop a diversified, regenerative farm operated collaboratively by several farmers. The goal is a farm that is profitable, ecologically healthy, and provides a good quality of life for the people working it. This is not a job posting. It is an opportunity for people interested in building and eventually owning part of a farm business together. Goals of the Farm • Regenerative / soil-building agriculture • Diversified enterprises (examples: sheep, poultry, market garden, compost, orchards, etc.) • Profitable and financially responsible • Low debt and long-term land stewardship • Shared infrastructure and cooperation • Balanced work weeks (around 30 hours on average once established) • Healthy food for our families and local communities Who Might Be a Good Fit You may be interested if you: • Have farming experience or strong practical skills • Are interested in regenerative or ecological agriculture • Value cooperation and transparency • Are comfortable building something gradually rather than expecting instant income • Would like the opportunity to build equity in farmland but cannot easily purchase a farm alone • Want a farming lifestyle that supports family life and long-term sustainability People with interests in livestock, pasture systems, market gardening, orchards, or other complementary enterprises are all welcome to reach out. What This Is (and What It Isn’t) This is: • a long-term collaboration • a chance to build a farm business together • an opportunity for shared ownership and responsibility This is not: • a typical farm job • a quick-profit venture • a short-term arrangement Finding the right people matters more than moving quickly. If this idea resonates with you, feel free to reach out and tell me a bit about: • your farming experience • what kind of enterprises interest you • what attracts you to this kind of collaborative farm Contact me @ barrievoth@gmail.com
