Farm description
I am not renewing my current lease on a small farm. It is an opportunity for another. My farming has also included other properties but these need not be part of a lease with a new tenant.
Farm opportunity
Small farm (about 9 acres) north of Hamilton on Highway 6. The property includes a house, garage, small machinery shed and a partially built small garden shed/green house. Most of the property has been used for hay for many years but there are three areas that have been gardens (all disasters this year), some raspberry canes (overgrown) and a small apple orchard (about 70 young trees made up of 6 varieties - some combination of heritage apples grown in the area in the past). It is likely that a three-year lease is possible for a new tenant but ownership in the future is very unlikely as the largest part of the property is zoned residential.
