Farm description
A 15-acre farm on Pelee Island (most heat units in Canada, longest growing season in Ontario). I have retired from seed crop growing but still have native tree/shrub/wildflower production for island projects and grow vegetables and flowers for the local market.
Farm opportunity
Opportunity to grow on about two acres for local markets and restaurants at applicant's self-direction and interest, plus help with other crops being grown on the farm and elsewhere on the island. I'm open to artists, musicians, philosophers or others with some experience such as basic gardening skills. Some background in biology/agriculture/genetics useful but not essential. I can offer limited mentoring.
