Hello, My name is Bakar Mansaray, myself and wife are aspiring agricultural entrepreneurs looking for a small piece of land to lease for vegetable and crop production within a one hour's drive from Ottawa, Ontario. Myself and wife are seeking approximately 0.5 to 2 acres of land and are interested in establishing a well-maintained, productive farming operation. We take pride in responsible land stewardship and would ensure that the property remains clean, secure, and properly cared for throughout the lease period. I am a Canadian citizen and I have a Canadian academic background in business administration combined with practical agricultural experience gained through crop cultivation and livestock production in Sierra Leone. My experience includes farm planning, budgeting, record keeping, crop management, goat and sheep husbandry, marketing agricultural products, and managing day-to-day farm operations. I am seeking to apply these transferable skills to develop a sustainable and profitable farm enterprise in Ontario while adapting to Canadian agricultural practices and regulations.

I am planning to farm with my wife who also has a background in business management as pertains to maintaining a piggery and a poultry. She is a Canadian permanent resident, originally from Uganda. Both of us are raising our two sons who are 5 and 6 years old.
