I am a dog trainer with an established business in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. I am looking for a loved farm that is available to lease for dog training and socialization. I wish to find a permanent facility where we could offer clients a low-stress and professional dog training experience. There are a number of possibilities that would be suitable for our dog training establishment and a barn or outbuilding would be most ideal. I hope to find a space with housing or one that allows for an additional dwelling for space for an RV or tiny home. I am willing to invest in the betterment of the property and wish to find a mutually beneficial lease where I can grow my business.

Experience

I am a resourceful individual with a wealth of knowledge and experience in pet care and dog training. I am looking for a space to train dogs as opposed to farming. In the past, I have managed various different facilities some of which started as run-down buildings that were transformed into welcoming and professional facilities. I am self-sufficient and innovative which I hope to put to good use on a farm. I have been self-employed for over a decade and have a background in bylaws. I am familiar with land regulations and business operations of which we adhere to a high standard of professionalism. I would bring a legitimate and safe business to the right land.

Currently, my business is made up of myself and two other individuals. A farm would allow us to expand in which case we would be a team of 4 to 6 people.

Farm Vision

My dream is to open a dog training and socialization center. A barn would be an ideal setting to create a space that is secure, clean, safe, well-run, and low-stress. I wish to offer services for dogs that are centered around their emotional well-being and promote responsible dog ownership and positive reinforcement training. There are many daycares and dog walking services in the valley however myself and my team would offer similar services but with trainers and highly-credentialed staff.

Relationship with Farm Owner

I am friendly, trustworthy, cooperative, and easy to work with. I can work independently or cooperatively. I am self-sufficient and have a thorough business plan waiting to unfold in the right place. I would be happy to have a cooperative and collaborative relationship with the farm owner. Whatever dealings take place on the property would be done in cooperation with the farm owner. I am exceptionally organized and communicate well, especially with regard to business agreements.
