Overview
My name is Daniel Neves. I was born and raised in Brazil, graduated from veterinary medicine in Brazil, and currently living and working as a cattle veterinarian and beef ranching consultant down here in Central west of Brazil. I have over a decade of experience and I am looking to find a farm mentorship and business opportunity in Canada to learn and become established in regenerative farming and ranching.
Experience
I am a trained veterinarian and work with large livestock. I have lots of relevant business experience and great references and am skilled in the following areas: - Agroforestry - Beekeeping - Horse husbandry - Starting unbroke horses - Beef cattle husbandry, artificial insemination, pregnancy check, low-stress handling, working cattle from horseback.

I will be farming with my wife who is very enthusiastic about it. She has experience in administration, sales, and marketing, and web communications. We're looking forward to farming together in Canada and are fully committed to learn from an experienced farmer and further develop a farm business together. We have a daughter just turning 4 years old, she loves all the farm animals, she enjoys going on a horseback ride and she loves living here on the farm.
Farm Vision
My farm vision is based on regenerative ranching and agriculture principles where we can emphasize building soil health, restoring biodiversity, and reinstating the soil’s functionality in the farm ecosystem. We would love to learn from and become part of a cow-calf ranch with some stack enterprises like pastured layers, pastured pigs, and some fruits and vegetables. Looking to do farm to fork direct marketing and engage our local community.
Relationship with Farm Owner
I am looking for a tutor, to begin with, someone who can mentor me in the Canadian way of regenerative farming and ranching and possibly employment that could lead to partnership and/or leasing. We are currently looking at immigrating requirements and our ideal situation would be an employment opportunity that can become a long-term farm sharing agreement. We're committed to honest communication and very much look forward to creating a solid working relationship with a landowner.
