Overview

Hi, my name is Jared Moore and I am an entrepreneurial man looking to break into the marijuana cultivation industry. I have taken to this site to inquire about the possibility of renting/leasing some land in the Ottawa area to begin an operation with my business partner. We take our craft very seriously and have extensive experience in the marijuana cultivation field. We are looking to rent/lease in order to build the funds necessary for a larger operation with less up front costs. Although the prospect of a marijuana cultivation operation may be different to what you were expecting with your land, we would encourage an open mind as it is a fast growing, newly normalized, and extremely profitable venue. We would only operate under the guide of the law and would acquire licensing before planting of course. The operation would be mainly outdoor grown product with the prospect of some renovated shipping containers on the land (easily removable). We would only require 1 acre or even less at first as we intend to begin as a micro-cultivation license. Thank you for your time - Jared

Experience

Entrepreneurial business knowledge. Post secondary education in management. Knowledge and understanding of cannabis act and requirements.

Partner(s)

I will be farming with the help of a business partner, Kiell Barrie. He is a seasoned grower and has the same knowledge and understanding of the cannabis act and requirements.

Farm Vision

Our farm vision is a 1 acre lot (or potentially even less), used to service the requirements of a micro-cultivation license under the cannabis act. The farm will contain 1 or 2 modified shipping containers to sustain mother plants and equipment as well as the space required to package and store cultivated product. the majority of product will be grown outdoors in the summer season with limited use in the winter in the shipping containers. The farm will have to be fenced under our expense unless adequate security is provided by the farm owner. As a micro-cultivation license, the total area grown on can be no more than 200 square meters.

Relationship with Farm Owner

We are looking for a positive relationship with the land owner. A relationship that understands the commitment we have to the industry and supports the cannabis industry. We would act very independently.
