Experience

I am : Strong, persistent, efficient, fixated on farming self sufficiency I have minimal gardening skills but want to learn more . I have 2 barred rocks, 6 months old, and in incredible health. They both lay 6 eggs a week. The yolks are dark orange and needs to be cut with a fork to break. The whites are whiter than white and as fluffy as marange. I just may be - The chicken whisperer. I am in the process of discovering chicken math. 1+1=101. Raising 2 chickens on my own has suddenly put things into a much different perspective . I'm going g to need more chickens!!!!

Farm Vision

Chickenlandia. My vision is chickenlandia. My mother has been a member of the Canadian Kennel Club since the very early stages of my life. She is a 5 star breeder of Golden Retrievers, as well as a dog trainer in obedience and duck hunting. I have owned dogs - and loved them of course.. However: I currently own 2 very spoiled, very healthy, and very beuatiful barred rocks. My girls prefer the symphony, they love to talk and also love to cuddle.. They are indeed just as smart or even smarter than any of my mothers dogs... Which is to say that: I have fallen in love with them, and since becoming this chicken finatic, I have a very strong motivation to operate even just a tiny piece of my own chickenlandia! I am new to growing I have gardening experience, minimal landscaping, and i'm pretty new to this whole chicken thing, but I am very involved - my 2 barred rocks are actually domesticated house pets thay are 6 months old. I do a lot of research, have taken the courses to know just how to do that research,. As a health freak I understand health. As a new farmer I dare you to put your freshest, best eggs up against mine - my girls will blow your mind. I'm looking to learn everything I can in order to produce the best quality eggs from the most spoiled and healthy chickens. Not afraid of hard labour. One word to describe myself : Efficient. I come highly skilled in many areas, I am extremely high energy in terms of work, and very friendly. So this is me, willing to trade my skills in terms of work ethict, motivation and accomplished checkmarks, for your your skills, and a tiny plot of land to learn and experience from.

Mentored experience working on farm, land to rent, to purchase, or rent to own. Can keep to myself, or be a very helpful addition to a social farm. I am very easy going.
