Experience

We bring a strong, complementary foundation in business operations, environmental sustainability, and food safety. Our combined professional background includes large-scale logistics and operations management, ensuring our farm's supply chain and daily workflows will be highly efficient. Additionally, we bring rigorous quality assurance expertise to the field, backed by professional experience as a food scientist and specialized training as a certified Lead Auditor. This ensures our agricultural practices are meticulously managed and held to the highest safety and quality standards from seed to distribution.

Partner(s)

Three Roots Harvest is officially registered as a general partnership, operated by a family. While we share all core daily farm responsibilities and management within our family, we recognize the labor-intensive nature of our specific crop cycles. During peak operational windows—specifically the key sowing and harvesting phases for our garlic and butternut squash—we will augment our workforce by bringing in trusted friends and hired seasonal general labor as needed to ensure efficiency and timely crop management.

Farm Vision

Three Roots Harvest is a family-run agricultural enterprise dedicated to cultivating premium hardneck garlic and Waltham butternut squash using sustainable, earth-conscious practices. By combining a professional background in solar sustainability with food science expertise, we aim to maximize the yield, flavor, and ecological health of a compact, sub-acre plot in Ontario. Our vision is to build a thriving, small-scale farm that supplies exceptional produce to local wholesale and restaurant partners while nurturing the soil for future generations.

Relationship with Farm Owner

We are seeking a collaborative, transparent, and mutually respectful relationship with a farm owner. As first-generation farmers entering a land lease or lease-to-own agreement, we highly value the opportunity to integrate into the local agricultural community and learn from the legacy of the land we operate on. We are committed to being highly communicative, responsible stewards of the property, treating the owner's land and any shared infrastructure with the utmost care and professionalism.
