Overview
Visual artist. Lover of landscapes and waterways. Songwriter. Graphic, audio, video digital tech lover. Although I have no intention of giving up the digital environment, I do intend to spend more time and energy living in and tending to the real world. I did not grow up on a farm per se, but we lived rurally, kept gardens, had a well and handpump. My dad was a woodworker and my mom worked hard growing food, baking bread and canning. I got introduced to Permaculture a few years back. I couldn't believe the yields I got with the techniques. I would like to learn how to grow for seed and how to preserve and store the future bounty. Interested in all things vegetable and animal. I am also interested in learning more about wildflowers and bees. Ideally, I am looking for a live-work opportunity that consists of 4-6 hours a day of work, with some time left for personal projects. I understand what it means to work outside. I am open to planting, weeding, harvesting, tending to animals, cleaning, cooking and helping around the office with any advertising-graphics-admin related projects.
